Based on the price, I had really low expectations, but an electric guitar, with amp and all the accessories I figured what the heck. I hadn’t really played in almost 25 years and when I started again with this guitar it was far better than anticipated. I love the feel of the neck. Outwardly looks good. A bit ugly on the inside, when I opened her to replace the strings, gave me some potential concerns about durability. Overall, It’s great for beginners or someone who just wants to play for fun. The sound quality doesn’t compare to a high end guitar, but for the money invested (about $100) and with some tweaking of the practice amp settings it came with and tone knobs the sound is actually pretty darn good considering. Also, I replaced the strings with some premium strings and it resulted in a noticeable improvement in sound and tone. For a beginner, or someone like myself that just wants something to play around with at the house it’s perfect. It’s not a $1,000 or $1,500 guitar but at a cost of about $100 it punches above its weight class and exceeded my expectations greatly.
