Remove the staples from cardboard they are sharp please. But everything else was fantasticjust as other say . fit and finish was good but the wood panel on the back is not thick enough to mount the hanger for the guitarUsed as display case for my collectibles.Great deal!NiceI bought one from a different site from Penzoni for a large guitar. It is black with a red felt. I was hoping it would be better quality and I was looking to buy 6-8 to display my guitars in a room.First shipping was great I ordered it and got it 3 days later. The unit appears to have been freshly stained as you can smell it strongly and I still can 8 hours later. The unit was packaged very well . I bit overkill on the stapled box. The only issue with the packaging was that the guitar hanger was left loose inside it rattling around. That could damage the hanger or the finish or the plastic window.The Cabinet- Is not solid wood rather wood veneer over composite as most frame construction is. The grain was a rough grain and not a fine grain. This jumps out with lighter and darker striations with the black stainThe back sheeting is about 1/8 inch ply. This is stapled to the back and not mitered in to be flush. They do not stain the back side at all. This backing is thin too thin to screw the guitar hanger into with the hanger they supplied.The mounts are 2 picture hanger hooks screwed in at the top of the frame.The front door is just 1x2 block wood glued and clamped together. It is not mitered like a kitchen cabinet door nor is it beveled or routed like most doors are. This could become an issue longer term. It is held on by 3 hinges on the left side. The frame is mitered on the inside to hold the plastic window. The inside of the door frame was not stained the same as the front and sides. It looks to be a light single coat that is a dull finish and not of quality. It would be nice if the inside was finished like the rest. The door has 2 locking latches about 4 inches from the top and the bottom. When closed the door does not line up properly(bow in the wood). It would be better if they had 2 normal latches about 6 inches from the edges and 1 key lock in the center of the cabinet. This would hold the door in line with the frame better.The Guitar hanger is plastic. It is a cheap plastic hanger that is supposed to screw into the thin black plywood with wood screws. That is bound to strip out and get loose. The fact that the hanger is a cheep plastic hanger that can become brittle and or break and the screws can come loose due to thin plywood. I would hate to have e of my nice several thousand dollar guitars fall due to the hanger breaking or coming loose.. It would be much better to have a wood block with metal arms for holding the guitar. This way the screws can be firmly driven in from the backside into the block giving a good mount.The felt I ordered was red. It is glued down to the back of the unit. This felt was glued to plywood that apparently is not smooth. You can see waves in the felts and when you touch the area it is grooves in the plywood. The inside apparently is not a smooth finish ply. It should be a smooth finish that the felt glues too to avoid seeing the blemishes.For the money it is a decent albeit cheap guitar and not what I was to get.
